Notification Center Not Opening

Hello All - Just upgraded to OS X Yosemite. Everything is working except that when I click on the icon for Notification Center in the system bar it turns blue and then....nothing. Notifications are all turned on in System Preferences but the Notification Center will not open. Any ideas?

Might as well answer my own question. Have to give credit, however, to reddit user 5HT-2a for the help:

This should do it... Paste the following lines into Terminal one-by-one:

launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.notificationcenterui.plist
launchctl start com.apple.notificationcenterui.agent
killall SystemUIServer
